The Bison Cup bonspiel takes place at the historic Granite Curling Club, the home rink of the Keystone Rainbow Curling League.

Founded in 1880, the Granite Curling Club is the oldest rink in Manitoba. On the banks of the Assiniboine River in Winnipeg, the club is centrally located near the Manitoba Legislature Building and is in walking distance to all Downtown Winnipeg sites and neighbourhoods.

Bonspiel Details

The Bison Cup bonspiel has a maximum entry of 32 teams. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games over February 14 to February 16, with finals taking place on Sunday at 1:30 PM.

This year's bonspiel will feature:

  • Trophies for winners of the A, B, and C Divisions

  • Cash prizes for winners and runners up

  • Prizes for each team to come in costume

  • Opportunities to buy drinks for other teams through the event website

  •  Saturday night banquet with views of the city at Prairie 360

  • Silent auction and 50/50 draws

  • Sunday morning drag brunch at the Granite Curling Club

  • And more to be announced!

Registration and Cost

Registration can be completed on the KRCL website by clicking on the registration button in the header or going to the registration page.

The registration deadline was February 2, 2020. 

Cost: $400 per team and $75 per alternate.

Payment is accepted via email transfer and instructions are detailed on the registration page.
