2023 Bison Cup Bonspiel Details

The Bison Cup is a curling funspiel that will take place on February  16-19, 2023. This is a LGBT2SQ+ bonspiel in which we will promote an environment where members of our community and their allies flourish intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

 

There are cash prizes for winners and runners up. There are trophies/medals for winners of each division. And there will prizes for team costumes and an ice princess award.

Registration and Cost

Registration Opens for this Event on Sunday November 13, 2022.

 

Early Bird Registration cost is $300 per team (Until Jan 15, 2023). $360 after Jan 15, 2023. Teams can add a 5th and/or 6th player for $50 each. Registration fees can be paid by sending an e-transfer to keystonecurling@outlook.com.

Location

The Bison Cup bonspiel takes place at the historic Granite Curling Club, the home rink of the Keystone Rainbow Curling League.

Founded in 1880, the Granite Curling Club is the oldest rink in Manitoba. On the banks of the Assiniboine River in Winnipeg, the club is centrally located near the Manitoba Legislature Building and is in walking distance to all Downtown Winnipeg sites and neighbourhoods.
