The Keystone Rainbow Curling League (KRCL) got its start in the 2004-2005 season, when founding President Trevor Harris organized a series of test events to see if Manitoba's 2SLGBTQIA+ community was interested in inclusive recreational curling. The response was overwhelming.

Fueled by that early enthusiasm, the league was officially established in the 2005-2006 season and has been going strong ever since. What started as a handful of sheets at our home club, The Granite Curling Club, and a hopeful idea has grown into one of Manitoba's most welcoming recreational curling communities, bringing together players of all skill levels, backgrounds, and identities who share a love of the game.

For over two decades, the KRCL has been shaped by dedicated volunteers who give their time to keep the league thriving both on and off the ice.
